This policy explains what information Dev Websites (“we”, “us”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it simple: we collect the minimum we need to respond to you and deliver our services, and we never sell your information.
Who we are
Dev Websites is a web design studio based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, serving small businesses across the Greater Toronto Area. You can reach us any time at [email protected].
What we collect
Information you give us. When you request a free demo or contact us, we collect what you enter in the form: your name, business name, email address, phone number, city, your current website address if you share it, and anything you tell us about your business and what you need.
Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and timestamps) for security and performance. We do not currently use advertising trackers on this site. If we add analytics or advertising tools in the future, we will update this policy first.
How we use your information
We use the information you provide to respond to your inquiry, prepare your free demo, provide and improve our services, send you information you asked for, and invoice for work you engage us to do. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information — ever.
When we share information
We share information only with service providers we use to operate — for example our website hosting (Cloudflare) and email. These providers process information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. We may also disclose information if required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and client records for as long as we provide services to you (plus any period required for tax and legal record-keeping). You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS. We limit access to personal information to the people who need it to serve you, and we use reputable providers for hosting and email.
Your rights
Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA), you may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we will respond promptly.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date. Material changes will be flagged clearly.
